Many people have a skincare routine that they follow every day, which has several steps that need to be taken in a specific order to get the most benefit for the different dental products you use.
However, there is far less consistency about your dental care routine, with most people following a different dental care routine, sometimes even in an order that removes the effects of certain products.
Whilst Enlighten Evolution whitening can provide immediate teeth lightening results, maintaining this beautiful look involves a commitment similar to the one you make for your skin, and the results can last for years.
Here is what your daily dental routine should look like.
Rinse With Mouthwash First
The mistake a lot of people who use mouthwash make is that rinsing your mouth out after brushing your teeth, which often causes people to rinse out a lot of the beneficial ingredients in the toothpaste.
Instead, use a mouthwash at the start of the day, as it can kill off bacteria that try to cause cavities and gum disease during the night.
Clean The Gaps Between Teeth
Either using floss or an interdental brush, clean between your teeth to ensure that your toothpaste can get in between teeth and flush out bacteria.
Flossing is incredibly important, as your toothbrush cannot reach large parts of your teeth.
Alternatively, if you do not like to use floss, try a water flosser instead for the same effect.
Two Minutes Of Brushing
Cleaning for two minutes can be difficult for some, so try to split your mouth into four quarters, and give each of them thirty seconds of attention. An electric toothbrush is the best choice for cleaning teeth as they gently massage teeth and gums rather than scrape against them.
Stick with fluoride toothpaste, and try to avoid overly abrasive products such as charcoal toothpaste.
Scrape Your Tongue
A lot of bacteria lives on your tongue, which not only causes bad breath but can also collect bacteria that can affect your teeth.
Most manual toothbrushes have a scraper on them but otherwise use a steel scraper to gently remove that bacteria coating.
